What you will do
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing mechanical designs and delivering high-quality solutions. You will contribute to exciting projects, working both independently and as part of a team to develop machines and products. Specifically, your responsibilities include:
- Developing constructions based on concept designs, with a focus on quality, cost, manufacturability, safety, and lead time.
- Creating technical drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials.
- Ensuring the quality and completeness of functional specifications.
- Supporting the realization of mechanical components and systems.
- Identifying deviations and contributing to project optimizations.
- Managing your own planning and monitoring your progress.
- Actively representing the vision and working method of Amstel Engineering.
What you bring
You are a motivated and detail-oriented engineer with a client-focused mindset. In addition, you bring:
- A completed bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience with 3D software tools such as SolidWorks and Inventor.
- A results-driven attitude and the ability to stay organized under pressure.
- Strong communication skills; you’re clear, direct, and not afraid to take initiative.
- A team-oriented mentality with the ability to work independently when needed.
